I went there as a kid and then went back a few years ago. It is totally indescribable!! I even took a 9.75 mile hike down and back up the canyon!! That was crazy!!! Glad you got to see it!

My cousin went there on a two month tour of the States years ago, he’s never forgotten it, he says it’s the most breathtaking thing he ever saw. Lovely photo, thank you for sharing the experience.

I’ve always loved the Grand Canyon. Some day I’d like to do the rapids on the Colorado River like my mum and da did. The train ride through the area is a fun trip if you ever make it back.

That is such a spectacular view. I would love to visit it one day myself. Good work.

Great picture! It’s hard to make the Grand Canyon look 3-D in photos, but yours has an element of depth with all the shadowing in the front and in the distance.

What an amazing place. I can imagine just how overwhelming it must have been to stand there.

I actually grew up there. At the Grand Canyon, not in it The true beauty is within though, if you didn’t do any hiking while you were there you missed out! And I can see this is the south rim of the canyon (where I lived). If the south rim of the canyon made you cry, the north rim may give you a heart attack It’s another world of beauty!
