What grandmothers are all about.

This lady has been around the block many times. She has felt many sorrows, but you’re her one main delight. She thinks about your life, and knows it’s going by, sooner than she’d like.

Grandmother’s love only comes around once, so hold on if you have one, because loosing her would make your world a lot more lonely place. Grandmothers are dear; they want you to never fear. They want to hold their grandchild’s hand until their strong and able. They can’t bear the thought of anything happening to their little angel.

These women must have been bless by the heaven up above, because their grandchild always knows their grandmothers loving arms are awaiting their cares and dreams.

Our grandmothers are a just a mirroring image of what we’ll all be quite soon. They have so much to tell us, so take ear and really listen well; she may have a story to tell. Listen well these stories told, they may just be from her past she secretly reveals. You may even get to be a character through her story telling, if you’re quite and really listen. You may just be surprise to find out that you are her most valued possession.

Your Grandmother is a mother who was once a mother herself. She knows that she knows the truth all too well. She wants her grandchildren to feel she’s still young at heart. Her heart just seems to beat a little stronger, when her grandchild’s kiss lands on her cheek to cheek.

A grandmother knows when her day has ended well; far she has just witness, a day spent with her grandchild as well. Days will be brighter and nights will mean better slumber, when a grandmothers cares have been put to rest, beside her pillow with smiles instead of dread.

Smiles are our grandchild’s way of speaking to grandmothers, when they are very small. They use to coo and da da, and me me as well, and if we knew what they were saying, what a story they might tell.

When life seems to kick a grandmother down, she’ll always arise strong if she can only here that sound. That sound is the sounds from her grandchildren’s lips, that will make a grandmother want to kiss kiss.

A grandmother is a special person, whom none other can compare. Yes she is.

that was so nice of you…
I haven’t experienced living and growing with any of my grandmother. It’s just too good my children enjoyed their grandma’s company now…

This was BEAUTIFUL! I never had grandparents as a child. They had all passed on by the time I was born. I use to resent other kids for having them, because when they talked about their grandparents, they would be so happy. I prayed that I’d live long enough to have grandchildren. Now I do, and I LOVE IT> They are indeed precious to me. I tell them all sorts of stories, and they love it. They never see if I gain a few pounds, or have a bad hair day. They just love me the way I am. Being a grandma is so great!

I know longer have either grandmother, but I still remember all the love and teachings they both give me. I still hold them dear to my heart. Thank you for sharing.

I never had a grandma or pa, but if I did, I imagine that the relationship would be much like this. I look forward to my days of being a grandma, but hope it doesn’t come too soon.

Grandmothers are great persons. They’ve devoted their time and energy to the family, society and the world. Well write again, thanks.

I had the worlds best grandmother, Florence Morgan. She and my grandfather gave me the best childhood memories. I wrote about them in Autumn Weekend and posted some old photos of them. They were the best. I also love being a grandmother to my three granddaughters: Heather age 5, Savanna age 2 1/2 and Brianna almost a year old. Great article.
