Making your own Green Tawa-tawa Tea to stop hangover.

Though the Philippine Government is a bit skeptic regarding the healing property of “tawa-tawa” weed (belongs to snake-weed Family) when it comes to dengue, I myself is convinced and would no longer waver my conviction pertaining to this weed.

If before I recommend tawa-tawa weed as a dengue cure, now I discovered that it is also a best green tea to combat Hangover.

Such discovery was incited when 3 of my friends died last week and as Filipino Christians, it is customary to do series of vigil and prayers prior to burial. As the last vigil approaches,  we decided to hoard at least 5 boxes of Tanduay Rhum 65 in order to be able to withstand the cold breeze of dawn.

Usually during this kind of painful event that our group will drink more than what we were used to. As a consequence of heavy consumption of alcohol, it is expected that such act will be “rewarded” by a very unpleasant physiological effects commonly known as hangover.

In my case, drinking water, coffee or any kind of liquids during the onset of my hangover usually triggers immediate vomiting and such is what I dreaded the most. Yet, when I tried tawa-tawa green tea, all that I noticed was my body started to sweat and then it prompted me to go to the comfort room and there eliminating the toxic stuffs from my body.

It was a rejuvenating feeling when I came out from my “Throne” as if having no hangover at all!

To prove me wrong, just do the following when you have hangover:

                  1.  Find a fresh tawa-tawa leaves (Snake-Weed): 5 fresh leaves will do.

                  2.  In a 200 mL of water, boil the tawa-tawa leaves until it reaches half of its total

volume(100mL) and the water turns to green.

                  3.  Drink this concoction before eating anything.

                  4.  Best consumed before breakfast

                  5.  Drink as needed

                  * Aside from hangover, it is best remedy for dengue.
