How happiness has to first come from within.

Happiness is a talentIt’s an artform.  Some people are good at it, some people are not.

I have always said happiness takes work.  It first of all takes you being willing to take responsibility for your own life, after all, your life is the one thing that incontestably belongs to YOU.  All good artists take responsibility for their art, your life is your first work of art, be you writer or homemaker, be you sculptor or husband, etc.  How you form that life, what you do with it, why you do it, is all up to you.  Others will give you advice, sometimes even try to control what you do.  Don’t let them.  Your life is yours, believe in yourself & make your life what you want it to be.  Work with your art.

Secondly, once you decide how you are going to form your life, what art form you are going to paint, sculpt, carve it into, then you have to work on it.  Art doesn’t just happen, & if you truly want to be happy, neither does life.

Lastly, & most importantly, you must enjoy & like what you have created out of your life, yet not relax because the work of life does not end until death.
