An explanation of how to heal.

The premier heartbreak tends to leave a hollowness within ones chest that is hard to fill. There are 2 completely opposite reactions to this inaugural loneliness. One of which being the healthy choice, to come to grips with it. To let the fracture heal cleanly with tender care as one would treat any wound. This leaves the tenement able to move on and find happiness elsewhere. The second response is repression. One can choose NOT to hurt, to avoid the pain and let the hollowness grow. Over time other afflictions add to the chasm and the definitions become lost. The niche where loneliness dwells becomes the home of disappointment of any kind and treating the wound therefore becomes impossible. How can one treat a disease that can‘t be differentiated? One can’t go back in time unfortunately and choose to break down the original source because it’s no longer the root of the problem. As one ages, they may blame love and loneliness for sorrow but it isn’t so. Maturity means life’s problems no longer rotate around an ex who was once the sun to a trivial universe. Another human being can’t be the excuse for failure forever. There comes a time when one must come to grips with reality and attack the many offenses that have caused desolation. Adulthood means finding within oneself the desire to succeed, and success in this sense is defined as fulfillment. Why does loneliness dwell so heavily inside? There is not one single answer. Pain must be splintered and categorized. One must establish goals and progress towards totality and stability no matter how difficult the process. It is a hazardous road thru tender maladies but it must be traversed alone with open heart and open mind. Only when one arrives back at the alpha can restitution commence.
