My philosophy alongside Thoreau’s ideals on religion in nature.

Let me first state that I am not a Christian.  I am not trying to say anything bad about any religion.  I just have certain beliefs that don’t really fit along side any one religion.  Henry David Thoreau’s main idea is try to find beauty in nature, and simplyify, simplify, simplify.  One day, as I was sitting with my English class in the park, I began to ponder the thoughts of Henry David Thoreau.  I found that he had some pretty cool ideas.  He pretty much said “screw society and its ideals.”  I think that this is an alright philosophy, but I don’t beleive quite in that extreme.  He would spend his entire life naked, whereas I would prefer to conform more towards our society than to not.  Basically the moral I am trying to get at, is “do what makes you happy.”
