Well, if you know me you know who this is written for…or do you? :) Enjoy, feedback is always appriciated!!!

I grabbed my jacket, quietly so my parents wouldn’t hear. I had absolutely no intentions on telling my parents I was sneaking out of my balcony door to get picked up by my 16-year-old sweetheart.

I jumped off my roof, hitting the ground hard. My feet stung and I was sure my short dress had come up during the jump, but I didn’t mind. My nerves were on edge, what if he didn’t come? What if his dad caught him and was coming to show my parents their daughter was a liar. That would suck, but I wasn’t going to think about it. Be positive, it’s worked for 14 years.

I sat on my porch and waited for him to show up. He was my dream guy, cute, tall, funny, charming, crazy, in band, and I could be myself around him and talk to him without him complaining or signing annoyingly. He was sweet to me and he was always there for me when I needed him. Which was a lot, but he didn’t mind.

His jeep pulled up in my driveway and I couldn’t stop from smiling. He opened the door for me and I had to jump to get in the car. His car was muddy and dirty and had a drum set in the back, so him. He looked at me and smiled at me. His eyes didn’t expect anything from me, and his hands were on the wheel. My heart pounded a little faster.

“So where do you want to go tonight beautiful?” He asked me and chuckled. His sideways smile directed at me.

“Hm…I don’t know. I didn’t think about it very much.” I said, surprised that I hadn’t thought about it at all, I was so caught up in actually seeing him I hadn’t thought of what we could do together.

“Good because I already made arrangement.” He said and smiled at me again, he knew me so well.

We drove for what seemed like forever. I talked about everything; I started with rabbits and some how we started talking about an imaginary homeless man named Stan who petted cats for money. I could be myself around him and talk about everything.
