As Christ Forgave You, So Also Do Ye
I don’t not live my life claming to never have sinned against another person.
I have accepted my wrong doing and wear them daily on my heart
Those who I have hurt in ways unspeakable receive only the best wishes for the future although it is hard to see past the anger that was in the past.
I have made my amends and tried to reach out in friendship and kindness to help their hearts heal only to have it returned in anger and pettiness.
I have learned my lessons and taken my punishments for my sins against others.
I will no longer extend my hand in kindness to those who do not accept that I am sorry for the pain I caused them.
I will pray that their hearts be healed and love finds a way past the anger they love to wallow in.
I shall not waste any more of my love or compassion on those unwilling to forgive in any capacity.
Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses
