Hoons just keep hooning around and its really starting to frustrate me to buggery.
I don’t know about you, but I am really starting to get sick of young people who drive excessively over the speed limit and not obeying the road rules.
This issue really started to bug me after reading an article in The Advertiser this morning, (the local South Australian Newspaper,) and discovering another five people had lost their lives on South Australian Roads. These five people were killed in two separate accidents. In the first accident four young men were killed and a fifth was seriously injured.
According to the newspaper reports, the accidents were caused by running a give way sign at high speeds causing a collision with another vehicle.
I feel that it is just so sad to see young people’s lives lost when they should have their whole lives ahead of them to look forward to. In my opinion something really has to be done about this to prevent such events from happening so often. I believe more research and education needs to be completed.
The government of South Australia has been talking about the idea of crushing young people’s cars who are caught doing wrong on our roads. I know this is and has been done in other parts of the world and would like to get your opinion on wheather you think this works or not, because if nothing is done, more and more young people’s lives will be lost.
Currently in South Australia, young people can drive without supervision as early as the age of 16. This age I believe should be upt, which may result in better alertness and awareness of our roads.
