Tamil state of India is popular for traditional dress wearing in India, but now a days this tradition of traditional dresses in rapidly changing for modern girls of Tamil state. Mostly girls are reading in schools o colleges are very away from their original traditions. These girls are highly affected with the charm of their south Indian film industry. Every girl adopts all fashions as they watch in Tamil movies. In these movies some low grade actresses are wearing western like short dresses, which cannot be a casual dress at all according to Indian local society.

These kind of short skirts and tight jeans were the part of Indian elite society. These high class elite girls only wore these dresses in some private parties and functions before year 2000. But now the conditions and traditions are rapidly changing. Saree dresses are replacing with short and mini skirts, and long trousers are replaced with tight blue jeans.

This trend of western dressing is rapidly growing in the entire India, but the Tamil girls are more affected by this western culture like Pakistani girls. Now it’s a common thing if you watch a local Tamil girl meet you in some garden or market cafe with this kin of short and open dressing. According to my observation all these new trends are growing up just because of two main reasons. The first reason is the charm and craze of Bollywood and Tamil actresses and their odd fashions, an the second reason is the highly populated advertisements of these dresses on local cable TV as well as every newspaper and magazine in India.
