When I was young I used to pity some poor people I saw on the streets. I used to think that with so many government resources and help, why can’t these people have money for food, have money for a home and have money for basic products and services?

Now that I am an adult I can think about it better. I realize that while me and all other people are working, these people are either sleeping or they are drinking or they are just laying down on the streets.

Now with that life it’s very easy to be poor and it’s very easy to beg for money.

If I drink all day long, if I just stay there on the streets and do nothing for no one, of course no one is going to come to help me. Things just do not work like that.

Now I do not feel pity for those people anymore. They must blame themselves for the life they are living.

Take a look at people in Africa for example. This is the world with the worst numbers of poverty. Take a look of what they do in life. All they do is to sing and dance. You cannot see these people organizing a group and using all that effort to produce anything worth selling.

They are the closest thing to an animal. They live like animals, they behave like animals. They do not care about anyone else but only with themselves.

You see people drinking, on drugs, beating on women and children.

They have the same amount of time we have, they have even better resources than those we have.

They are poor because they choose to be poor.
