In today’s generation, Internet has become an important part of life that nobody can take away. It can either improve or remain the same, but it won’t leave us. Governments, organization, and civilians today uses the Internet to find anything they need. Books can be read online. It is important for people who are not familiar with this technologies yet to become familiar.
A long time ago, when networking and Internet weren’t invented yet, people would have to search through books or ask different people to get an answer they need. It was very hard to get a straight forward answer, mostly because not all the resources needed were there. It was very hard to learn, we know how kids and teenager doesn’t like to sit down and read. Even though they might have things they want to know more about, or things they think might interested them, they aren’t motivated enough to sit down and search through books to find the answer. Even adults have this problem.
Then one day, somebody discovered a way to share information for public to see. Instead of sending out thick books full of information, they decided to send it over networks, so whoever has a computer can see it. The latest discoveries, the latest inventions, everything is posted so the public can see. Now, if someone wants to find out where manatees live, they wouldn’t have to search through the pages of an encyclopedia, or go around asking people just for the answer.
As technologies improve, so does the speed and convenience. Internet users does not have to wait prolonged time for the pages to load. Now, even the slowest computers is much faster then the fastest computers, hmm, 20 years ago. The Internet has kept us together with better communications. We have emails, blogs, social networking, and any others you could think of to keep us connected! We can email somebody who lives in India or something and gets a reply minutes later. It used to be such a big deal, you would think that you’ll probably never going to hear from them again until they return. But that was back then.
So, take an advantage of the technology and use it for your own needs! Don’t hold back because it was made to serve you!
