Can you determine if you are corny or not? Probably you don’t know that the people around you are talking about you and oftentimes laughing at you because you are so corny. We, guys, must have to take note that not all girls like to have a caring and thoughtful boyfriends or husbands. Sometimes, women don’t want to go with men who are just showing their weird attitude, in this case, being corny.

Just how will you know that you are corny?

Corny lines may be uttered by us, men, in times when we have nothing to say (running out of topic to talk about and the our dates were already bored). The first question that we must avoid is “Can I buy you a drink?” This question is very common and most, if not all, men asked this especially to new friends (women prospects). This line will mostly likely be asked in bars and restaurants. Asking such may be impolite and will create a bad impression on the part of the women. We should not ask that way! Asking so is an insult to them because they might think that we are assuming that they don’t have money to buy their own drink. Although this (the question) is commonly asked, it is not an excuse! Instead, we should say “I will buy you a drink, okay?”

If you are the type of man who is “fresh” (term which refer to those men who are aggressive, as if they will court women even if they just meet for the first time), you should have to make sure that the woman you are dealing with is not conservative. This is because some women don’t want to listen to you/will not talk to you if they found out that you are after for something. An excellent example of these questions is “Am I cute, or do you need another drink?” If you will ask this question, the woman might say that you want her to appreciate your physical beauty and charisma. Again, doing so will create a bad impression on the part of the woman. So, make sure that you rephrased the question in a way that you will create a nice impression on her. You can actually say: “Some people told me that I am cute but I don’t believe them because I found myself simple and unappealing, would you mind if I’ll ask your opinion about the way I look?”

You must have to avoid saying flowery words when you are talking to them! Lines like “When God made you, he was showing off!” and “Are you going to kiss me, or do I have to lie to my diary?” are really weird and needless to say corny. If you want to kiss the woman you love, say so, but in a way that she will not be paced-off. You must have to say it properly or she will slap you on the face! You can just say “Is it okay with you if I will kiss you?” or you can just show non-verbal gestures which would lead her to kiss you! Also, never praise her in a way that you are telling her that she is beautiful or sexy. She might think that you are just saying it just to save yourself and to earn a point in her heart. You can just say: “You know, people told me that you are beautiful….and I agree!” This way, she will appreciate the effort you are exerting!
