do many tricks on guitar like acoustic songs if your planning to make a song on an acoustic guitar you should have a rhythm in the song wiTh chords i would suggest using  a C chord a D chord an Dsus4, G major, F, BB, A, thus Gs those chords would sound nice also maybe add in a D minor it would sound great.

For heavy metal well ha ha i play a lot of heavy metal its one of my favorite genres i would say use palm muting and  power chords mostly use the E, A, and D string and use some sweep picking for the guitar solo’s (i prefer using an A minor arpeggio) and also try playing the low E string twice and play the A string and D string second fret.

For classic rock well use a lot of power chords mostly using the A string 3rd fret also D string fifth fret then jump a string up also try the A string in the fifth fret also the D string on the seventh fret thus use some scales.
