Moreover, if you’re using technical terms, do add in a glossary or the meaning of the term so that the reader can understand better without having the trouble to search for its meaning.

3. Keeping It Short

While surfing the Internet, the attention span of most people are reduced to a shorter period of time because people tend to be impatient when reading off their screens as compared to reading from a printed article. Therefore, it is important to keep your sentences and paragraphs short and sweet. Make sure your content in those sentences are to the point. An effective way to capture your reader’s attention is the use bullets or points-form.

4. Converse To Your Readers

To keep the readers interested to your article, you have to be conversational. In simple terms, you need to communicate to your readers like you talk to your friends. When writing your own article, you should infuse some of your own personality into it. For example, you can include any personal experience or thoughts into your article if it’s related, of course!
