Have you ever wondered that users, whenever they register to any website, they have to edit this page? Why do social networks like facebook, media sites, Music sites like youtube, travel guides, eBay and other entertainment websites need this information? Well… the answer is simple, they have to give the rating companies a proof that they have huge amount of subscribers and their web traffic is great. So they are obviously getting profit from you, but can you make profit from them? Yes!

Here are some of the tips you MUST follow to impress anybody:

1. “About Me” is your Personal Information

This is the time when you have to think about success stories in the past. Even if you were a kid and you won a gold medal in a race. Describe this ability of yours in few words. If you have been a good writer or a debater then write a cool morals. If you’re sad then write something which makes others sad and if you’re happy then write something to make others happy. Remember that this information is personal so explain it in just few sentences but don’t use dictionary to find difficult words . Write as if you’re a problem solver not problem creator.

2. Tell them your like them

People tend to write false information about themselves in many cases, like they want to be friend with somebody. That is okay but don’t think about just one person, think of those 3 types of persons. I’ve classified them as 1. People who directly go to your personal information page, 2. Who visit your profile for their interests and 3. Who accidently visited your page. When you write the first sentence, think you’re the first type of person. The same thing applies to the second and third types of persons. This would be the second paragraph of your “About Me”

3. Finally…admire the reader

At the end, you should add a 1-2 line sentence to build others confidence. The great way to do this is you must admire the reader. Wish them Good Luck or I wish you success or love is life so keep loving etc.
