If We Try Hard to Read Between the Lines.. .

We are usually insecure when we have both feet planted on the ground. . .

Many have to climb the highest mountains to test their strength.

Some have to dive the deepest oceans and risk running out of breath.

Many have to jump from a plane and trust their lives to a parachute that may not open.

A few have to flip motorcycles in the air when they could safely fly a plane.

Most would ride speedy machines and subject themselves to constant danger to taste the thrill.

The majority would wear battle gears and wield weapons of death to maintain world peace.

And when circumstances cripple us to remain with life support systems on our deathbed, only then we could cherish life as simple as walking with heads up appreciating a beautiful world that had and always been there.

Only if we have second chances, if not the image above decides our fate.

You are right. So many people become “thrill seekers” because they see their lives as boring and mundane. They don’t recognize that the real challenge of life is to appreciate the small things. Great write!

How true. Many of us never appreciate what we have until it’s gone.

Living and taking care of things near at hand should keep us all busy enough. Speaking for myself, it does.
