Just because of their capability and grasping power of various concepts, are humans destroying the only purpose of their existence? Read on…
What are we meant to do on this planet? What’s the point of our very existence? This is a very abstract thought which comes around people’s minds very rarely. There are many ways to look at these sorts of questions as well.
However, most people (including me) believe that people exist to make the most out of their lives, their planet, and to have a kick out of whatever they do. The regular human mind always runs around on how to make oneself powerful. Again, why? It’s because of a gut feeling of satisfaction that everything is run the way you want it to and that they powerful. But then, what is power? Power is the ability to do whatever you want and get away with it.
The next question arises: What sin did our planet commit for us to exploit it in the way that it’s being exploited? The world is the origin of everything, from the basic necessity to the unnecessary luxury. Human beings are naturally very greedy. When they see that there is a whole world with a whole bunch of resources to be consumed, they don’t think of the past and future, the only thing in their minds is the present situation. People don’t look at the fact that there will be future generations to carry on the human race; or that there is always a con to a pro.
Then wouldn’t it be a tasteless life if we had nothing to fight each other for? No! People’s egos are NEVER satisfied. This is something that even the God Himself can’t do much about. But can’t we get a grip on our own lives? Can’t we question our conscience whether everything we do is right or wrong? Can’t we live in harmony with the nature like the rest of the biosphere is? Do we really need unnecessary luxuries for which the future generations are going to pay for? As if we aren’t doing enough damage already, do we really have to fight among ourselves too? Why should there be the word ‘corruption’ in the dictionary?
Well, these are questions which need a lot of thinking before answering. But at the same time, it’s the responsibility of every citizen in the world to go over such things at least once in a while.
Keep dreaming, keep imagining, keep doing, keep inventing, keep accomplishing, and most important of all, keep your inner conscience strong at all times.
