Watermelons are fruits that grow on a stem. There little leaves eventually bear fruit. This growth is caused by the absorption of the sun and water. For a watermelon to survive through the phases in its life it must take on many characteristics. The fleshy inner parts that flourish with life, the seeds that bear life, and the shell that makes sure everything is safe inside. Without anyone of these things there would be a rotten watermelon, starting to dry-up and die. But what is the most important object that makes sure everything can live? The sun is the essential thing for all life. Without the sun a watermelon could not exist, which means it would be worthless; unable to have an effect on anyone. But this effect on people is why it must exist, to put an impact you and I. By following the parts of a watermelon you might just find more than food, maybe a way of life. So I went ahead and put myself in the shoes of a watermelon; which means I had to say to myself “Devin you are a watermelon.”

The inner fleshy core of a watermelon makes up the best part of the watermelon. The rich tasty, red flesh makes for the best food. There are seeds inside and a lot of growth. This can be like the rooms in a house.

I have a fleshy inner core made up of valuable parts; the heart, liver, lungs, ect. But the most delicious parts are my soul, and my thoughts. By focusing on what a watermelon keeps most precious and valuable, I understand that I should protect myself by feeding my body what will make the inner parts better. Also adding growth all these parts will make me into a better person. When I was a kid I would swear because my friends thought it was cool, but I turned out to be a very bad person to those around me. If I would have protected myself from that type of harm I could have meant more to them, than words. So what is the value of a watermelon?

The inner parts are valuable, especially the growth of seeds. Watermelons dominate the seed making processes of most eatable foods, being at the top of the list with the highest quantity of seeds. Watermelons create seeds, so the seeds created can make more seeds.

I am the same; I create seeds, so they can create. I put things in front of people that will help them to grow personally. Like the sound of a six string acoustic guitar playing a beautiful melody for a new-born baby mind. I relish the creation of seeds, as does a watermelon. During my conversion I planted a seed in my brothers through the example I left, I went from smoking, drinking, sex, and violence to a kind, giving, and selfless brother. They may not have chosen right away the better life I showed them, but after five years my brother Danny gave his life to Jesus. Watermelons and I are one in the same -we believe in the creation of seeds. What is the value of a watermelon?
