Seriously People, It’s Just a Date on a Calendar!
I have been hearing a lot of talk about incident that is supposed to take place on December 23, 2012. Some people believe the world is going to end with a good dose of world wide earthquakes, tornadoes, tidal waves, floods, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, meteorites slamming the Earth, Nations going to War by raining nuclear warheads on each other and other forms of cliched destruction and devastation that only a Hollywood movie could produce to instill fear in us while at the same time entertain us. Either that, or this world will be visited by aliens, God, or some other form of a extraterrestrial or extradimenisonal being who will probably take us all away to another place or something like it. I have been hearing about so many different scenarios regarding the entire ordeal its no longer original. Therefore, I have decided to give my two cents on this talk of 2012.
People, listen up and listen good, NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN ON DECEMBER 23RD 2012 THAT IS EVEN CLOSE TO THE WORLD ENDING!! So all you out there who talk about the world ending on that day need to stop it right now right this minute. There is no “rebirth” or any form of “disasters” that are going to occur on that day, so stop worrying about it! I mean get real people! Don’t you all realize that this 2012 nonsense is just a market ploy to control the gullible masses (AKA You, the Reader) into bending to the will of the ones in charge? No, because you are already too afraid of what the future may bring!
I remember back when I was thirteen and everyone, every single person I ever knew or came across were all talking about how the world would go into chaos over the so-called Y2K Millennium Bug. For those readers who may have been too young or unfamiliar with the concept, the Y2K Millennium Bug was the widespread belief and fear that when the year 2000 rolled around, all the computers would instantly crash world wide because the computers all thought it would be the year 1900 instead of the year 2000.
Suddenly everyone, and I mean everyone, was in a real panic as though it was truly the end of the world. There would be people in Wal-Mart for instance all buying every single thing they could purchase as every gullible person was so afraid. I saw people buying batteries, flashlights, bottled water, canned food, radios, and every other item in the even of a serious disaster. It was crazy back then as everyone was afraid of a little computer number change that would spell the end of the world and cause widespread chaos as the entire way of our modern society would cease to exist and people would start living out their lives as though they were in a Mad Max movie complete with groups forming to rebuild society while others would fight and steal for the thrill of it all!
