Frustrations of being without a phone.
I use to have a phone, but I lost mine. The cost of monthly payments are ridiculous. I find myself buying minutes that I can’t afford, now telemarketers have found a way to call my cell and use those precious minutes that I don’t have to spare. Envious of others on a family plan, and disgusted about the new phones coming out. I have a job but being under age I’m limited on what type of phone plan I can purchase. Frustrated I think about throwing a rock throught the windows of those telephone shops. However that wouldn’t serve any purpose except to land me in trouble. Can’t find a signal and I’m lost in the darkness, will anyone come searching for me? Ringing sounds in my head and my shoulder is being shaken. “Wake up, wake up it’s time to get ready for school” As I stretch my arms and yawn real deeply, I look around my room and I’m happy to see my stuff animals and toys. Oh my goodness what a horrible dream, I thought I was older and freaking out over a phone and how to pay for one. Thank goodness that the phone I have is a toy with candy on the inside. How sweet can that be?
