Ideas about Heaven

            Heaven I am sure has crossed all our minds at some point, and there are times I can’t help but wonder exactly what to expect. According to the Bible it is a place of eternal happiness, but it makes me wonders exactly what is meant by that phase, and if we are eternally happy, won’t we become bored? This is when my imagination is awakened, and I think of several things at once and surely can’t make up my mind.

            My first thought of heaven is arriving at a destination; perhaps it is one of our most enjoyed days during our lifetime. It is there that we “welcomed” and “cared” for by those that are in hell because they were unable to serve others in there lifetime. You are then prepared to move along, to meet up with those who have gone before us; with memories coming to light, and laughter all around. My only problem with this scenario is eventually we will run out of people to be reunited with, even though when we get to the very end of the ones who have gone before us, now its time to welcome and embrace those who came after you arrived. Over time, which is, suppose to be like instantaneously, it will just go on and on and on; so I believe there has to be some sort of change.

            Then my second thought is, are there different levels of heaven and hell? Perhaps you arrive to heaven and it is tranquil but you must aspire to attain the uttermost levels, to be surround by total blissfulness. It is a simple life but through reviewing our past life, we are “scored” by how remorseful you are by these sinful actions that you participated in as a sinful human. I know there are times even now that I am embarrassed by some of my sins. Embarrassed so much that the very thought of them cause me discomfort and pain. It is at this point that makes me wonder’ now what?
