People are stupid or amazing or they’re both.
People are a surprisingly weird creature, when you’re willing to consider the fact we may have an unmentioned case of the Control Complex mixed into our human condition that could also contain a hint of insanity—how else do we cope.
But I’m not talking about issues such as that, I’m talking about human stupidity. It’s amazing how idiotic some people can be and it’s even more amazing to think I’ve witness firsthand some idiots to grace this world—though I don’t refer to the people who appear on Jeremy Kyle (studio audience included)—that would be too easy of a target for my ballistic triggered mind of humour. No. I’m simply here to explain what has 30,000 people and doesn’t exist.
That answer is simple to consider at how someone thought the total population of the UK was somewhere within that figure—and before I hear you gasp with surprise and laughter. Making fun of people for being an idiot isn’t an entirely good thing, but the good there was enough to poke fun at her for it and explain to her the actual figure. How she was shocked at the sudden moment to realise her 30,000 figure was way off—what I wouldn’t give to see her reaction again for the sake of comedy. And if you’re wondering about her age, she’s a fully grown 19 year old human female.
The talk of idiots brings on another piece of human idiocy I was happily present to see. This person thought the Channel Tunnel was built through the ocean itself. Amazing how she was shocked at what was actually done to achieve one of the engineering marvels of this era and she about 19 as well—not an idiot of the one before but still worth a mention for the humour.
I laughed a lot when those two moments happened within two hours of each other. You couldn’t make up these two cases of stupidity. Though I still retain a preference towards a third situation of a girl being completely unaware of who The Beatles were—how I made fun of her for it and the population one.
Thought of the Day: September 24th:
Too much, too little and now I’m left without a care in the world at feeling slightly empty on the inside more each day—can’t write a word for toffee—such laughter doesn’t feel like it has a form for me to take some sense of meaning from.
