if only there were just one large country;

how heavenly that country would be.

If only there were no rich, no poor;

if only every disease had a cure;

if only there were not even one disability;

if only there were frankness and humility…

If only there were no greed, no envy;

if only there were no malice, no dishonesty;

if only there were no falsehood, no vice;

if only there were no mask, no disguise…

If only there were no hatred, no jealousy;

if only there were no pain, no agony;

if only there were no famine, no flood;

if only love circulated through our blood…

If only there were no pretense, no arrogance;

if only there were no hurt, no revenge…

just think about it, my friends from far and near -

if only all of the above things were true here.
