Chapter 19

                             The Journey

                          A couple days later, when I felt like it was time to apologize. I flipped through the book one more time but this time I found another letter in the back of the book.

              It was to Jake.  I opened it and read it, now my heart started to pound.  I quickly got dressed and threw some clothes and personal belongings in a suitcase.  I threw the suitcase into the trunk of my new car and started the car.

               I drove across the street to Jakes house.  The door was open.  The first thing I saw when I opened the door was a dead body lying right in front of me.  I looked

around and saw more dead bodies and a lot of blood.  One scream took it till I was in Jakes arms with his hand

over my mouth.  He took it off.  I saw that he had a suitcase in his hand too.  Everything went black and all I remember was seeing those dead bodies in Jake’s house.                I woke up to a sudden hit on the head from a window.  I looked around; I was in my car with Jake driving. 

              “Why were there dead bodies in your house?”  I asked frightened.

              “They were immortals sent to attack me.”  He replied.
