I nearly jumped with excitement. We won!  It was getting late so we decide we both were tired and get in the car and drive home.  It was about the best night ever.

                                 Chapter 25

                        You Didn’t Tell Me

              The next day Jake came over to my house and made me breakfast.  After I ate I heard the doorbell ring.  It was a girl much like me, who asked for Jake.

              “Um… hi nice to meet you…”

              “Rose.”

              “Nice to meet you Rose.” I say politely.  “So you know Jake how?”  Then Jake comes in the room.

              “Rose?”

              “Jake. Very long time no see.” she says with enthusiasm.

              “What are you doing here?” Jake says sternly.

              “Ok, I’m going to come right out and say this.  She turns towards me.  “Jake’s my boyfriend not yours so cut the crap and get a new one.”

               “What the heck is your problem?  Jake who is this.”  This time I say it seriously, no more Mr. Nice guy.
