                                                             Immortals Among Us                       

              Jake’s always there.  It’s like he has my schedule. Things are starting to get really freaky.   When ninth period ends Jake gets up and leaves something behind.  It’s a gold pen. I’m going to return it; it will be the right thing to do.  Also it will give me a chance to talk to him.  Of course I have to do the right thing and blah, blah, blah.

                                That Night

                          When I get home I look in the new school address book for Jake’s name to call him about the pen.  When I come to “Jake Woods,” I nearly faint, when I see his address. I walk over to the window and look out at the old mansion. I thought it was deserted because it was haunted.  (Jake is my neighbor).  The mansion is directly across the street from me.
