This is a story about my girlfriend’s boyfriend.  While running late for work one morning, my girlfriend

decided to ask her boyfriend to pay her rent, car note and utility bills for her, of course he told her he

would, big mistake on her part.  On giving him the money, fool that she was, she headed off to work.

Listed below are the following reasons he gave for not paying her rent, car note and utility bills:

     His reason for not paying her rent is he had fallen behind in his rent,

     so he paid his rent instead so that if there came a time when she

     couldn’t pay her rent, she could come live with him.

     His reason for not paying her car note was he decided to pay for a one

     night church retreat so that they could spend some quality time together.

     His reason for not paying her phone and cell phone bill was while he was

     in the department store, he saw a nightgown he thought she would look

     beautiful in, so he brought it.

     His reason for not paying her electric bill was he wanted to treat her to

     a night out at the movies and dinner afterwards.

     His reason for not paying her gas bill was he loved her so much, he wanted

     to buy her a dozen red roses.

     His reason for not paying her water bill was he stopped by the candy shop

     to buy her those Lady Godiva Chocolates that she love so much.

Upon finding out what her boyfriend had spent her hard earned money on in the name of love, he

spent the night at a hospital retreat with a broken nose.
