In the last two years we’ve seen an increase in the price of.. well almost everything on the face of this planet. It’s just getting worse every week.  All I see on the news is that there’s been an increase in the price of petrol, there’s been an increase in the price of vegetables or there’s been an increase in the price of electricity. I don’t know how many ‘badd duas’ these people in the government are taking from the public. I don’t know what these people want from us now. Prices of basic things like milk and sugar have reached record-breaking peaks. No wonder there has been a drastic increase in the number of suicides and dacoites due to poverty in this country. And no, I don’t believe the worldwide inflation is to blame because we see it’s only in Pakistan that the things it produces itself like sugar have become so expensive.First the poor people would have vegetables or lentils but even that have become so expensive it’s no joke. Men complain about utility bills and women are seen fighting with the vegetable vendors because their entire budget is messed up. Poor people used stuff like onions and potatoes in their diet because they were cheap but now onions are being sold at Rs.70/kg. We don’t get surprised now if we hear about a man committing suicide because he couldn’t fulfill the demands of his family.
I think the government is a goon that robs us without guns. Shameless people are sitting in the government. They obviously can’t feel the pain of the masses who have voted for them. I really hope these people running the government understand that this price hike will only lead to more suicides, dacoites, drug abuse and increase in poverty which will which will affect the already fragile system of this country.
