SETTING:

This takes place in two main places. First, in the therapist’s (Dr. Anna Dre) office. The therapist office is in the hospital that David stays at, Happy Days Hospital. Then, it goes to the island. The island is deserted and is not found on any map and has never been heard of. It flashes back and forth from the therapist’s office to this island.

DAVID: NO! (Struggling to not take his meds)

NURSE POPPY: take your meds (trying to force the meds into him)

DAVID: never!

NURSE POPPY: fine we’ll strap you down, and then you’ll take your damn meds. (Struggling to strap him down but does.)

NEXT SCENE HE’S IN THE THERAPIST’S OFFICE WITH DR.ANNA DRE.

DR. ANNA DRE: How are you today David?

DAVID: Do I really have to be here?

DR. ANNA DRE: Yes you do.

DAVID: What do you want?

DR. ANNA DRE: So I hear you talk about the island a lot.

DAVID: What about the island?

DR. ANNA DRE: Did something happen at the island?

DAVID: Yes.

Flashback:

To a boat heading to an island with David and his family in it. The boat crashes.

TYLER: what happened?

DAVID: we crashed captain obvious

MARGARET: be nice to your brother!

DAVID: fine

LENNY: this is your fault we’re in this mess David. If you didn’t ask your mother if we can spend more time together we wouldn’t be on this island.

TYLER: where r we?

DAVID: on an island ditwit

MARGARET: ok, ok let’s just stop arguing and figure out how to get off this island.

TYLER: I need chapstick

DAVID: what? Be quiet Tyler

LENNY: stop it now or I’ll ground you

DAVID: what to our rooms?

LENNY: I’m sick and tired of your sarcasm. Come help me fix the boat you little sarcastic ditwit so we can get home.

Flashing back to the therapist office

DR. ANNA DRE: Really? So how does that make you feel?

DAVID: Why do you care?

DR. ANNA DRE: David I care

DAVID: no you don’t you get paid to sit there and draw on that little pad of yellow paper

DR. ANNA DRE: you’re very observant David. Let’s get back to your story.

Flashback to the island

LENNY: David, get the wrench make yourself useful.

DAVID:  get it yourself Lenny (David picks up the wrench)

LENNY: you know what, I didn’t think marrying your mom would have me end up dealing with you (David gets so mad that he hits his step dad with the wrench and he falls to the floor bleeding a lot. Mom comes in screams and he hits her the same out of panic. Tyler walks in and David hit him the same. David falls to his knees in shame then cries.)

Flashback to the office

DR. ANNA DRE: so you killed your family?

DAVID: I panicked

DR. ANNA DRE: David, I know you’ve been through a lot coming face to face with the killer but you don’t have to make up stories about killing your own family. It’s not always your fault.

DAVID: But I did.

DR. ANNA DRE: I think its time for your meds again.

DAVID: I did kill my family I’m telling the truth.

NURSE POPPY: Let’s go.
