The aggression and domination instincts in psychoanalysis science.

Instinct of aggression characterizes expressions of ego defensive against external threats to its equilibrium state / pleasure. They are always of psychological origin (Id). They are internal motivations that are expressed through the voice, muscular system, within the context of the individual defensive. Both the drives of aggression and destruction are linked to the drives called death – Thanatos. They operate mainly in silence, and can only be recognized when they act out the individual understands that the term “instinct of destruction” to qualify their effects more accessible, more manifest, expressing itself through the muscles.

Instinct of domination is not psychological sexual instinct that could unite only secondarily to sexuality and whose goal is to dominate the object (object of pleasure) by physical strength, intellectual (presumption and arrogance), seduction (conviction), catechism or orientation (instinct domination sublimated). Freud says that the child cruelty is linked to a drive for domination, however, would aim to impose suffering on others, but just do not take into account. In “Instincts and fate of the drives,” which is clearly developed the first Freudian thesis about sadomasochism, he explains that the primary aim of sadism is defined as an act of imposing humiliation and domination by violence to the object, but its merger with sexuality appears in the return of sadomasochism against his own ego, because of the intense guilt repressed, producing the masochism. In “Beyond the Pleasure Principle” and the introduction of the concept of death instinct, as opposed to the life instinct, the instinct of domination is described as a consequence or derivation of the death drive that originally only designed to destroy the elected subject .
