Rambling…AGAIN. I get too bored sometimes….

Internal Imprint
Jenna Cravens

Art is the depths of a person which cannot be expressed in a straightforward manner. It pulls more from a person, it tugs at our artistic and creative outlets until finally, it breaks free of the typical, worldly, bonds and transforms itself into expression, into art.
That pull is always there, pushing us to create something that will express to someone else our own inner feelings in ways other than conversation. Something that will make a greater impact, force a deeper memory, and relate to an inner emotion.
Everything reflects a person, a true person. The art they produce always has a piece of themselves entwined, engraved, in their masterpiece. Your own watermark, automatically placed. An internal imprint of ourselves and our inner emotions.
It’s how we connect with other beings. It’s how we really touch another person. Through the rising and falling chords of music, through the dramatic or subtle movements of dance, through the poetry of a song, the beauty of a frozen moment caught in pixels, or the changing colors of a painting. It relates, it connects, it clicks, it brings to life, it simplifies, it gives words, it gives a meaning, it shares expression, it leaves an imprint.
