Jesse James an outlaw? here is what I think.

Jesse Always looked up to his brother Frank, his brother was like a father to him in a sense because at a young age Jesse’s father had died and now his brother had to do all of  the work to support his family. Jesse’s was always by his brothers side and always tried to imitate him and do what ever Frank did. When Frank joined the Bushwhackers Jesse also wanted to join the gang. Due to Jesse’s young age he could not join and risk a foolish mistake that could risk the furtiveness of the Bushwhackers. No matter how many times Jesse tried to impress the leader Quantrill to let him join he was always declined acceptance. Jesse stayed on the farm with his mother when frank left for his adventures and missions with the gang. When Jesse was old enough to join the bushwhackers he joined immediately. Jesse was one of Quantrill’s most loyal members. Jesse would do whatever Quantrill said just like his brother but Jesse would do the mission or task with perfection. In the meantime Quantrill was brainwashing his members including Jesse. Jesse had been brainwashed to a point where a bullet chipping of the tip of his finger did not worry him . He would  telling them lies and treating his members with great respect and being very generous to them so when ever he asked them to do something hey would do it with out any hesitation and whenever Quantrill told them something they would believe him without a trace of disbelief. William Quantrill was a smart man but dies at the age of 27 by an ambush, this led to the end the Bushwhacker militia and Jesse and frank returned home to find out that their mother had been captured by the confederates!

Jesse’s loved his mom very much and when he realized that the confederates had taken her he was enraged. Jesse had lost two people that were both taken from him by the confederate army, now Jesse had every reason to hate the confederate army and by showing that fear he robbed banks, took many peoples lives, and burned houses and buildings. Now Jesse and Frank were a two man team and spread terror through communities. Due to the shortage of firepower the confederates had an advantage and shot his brother and now Jesse finally realized that he should give up and fortunately Abraham Lincoln had sent word out to all the guerrilla’s that if they stop they will be forgiven and the war would be over. When Jesse had calmed down with his rage the confederates just received theirs through the assassin of the president, Abraham Lincoln had been shot.

The death of Abraham Lincoln had sparked a flame into the hearts of the confederate soldiers and they did not care about any southern rebel such as Jesse James and when Jesse was on his horse coming into town with a white flag to show his surrender he was shot two times in the chest but luckily he fell of  his horse by a river and hid until a cousin of his rescued him. His cousin took care of him and provided him with food and shelter. It took Jesse six moths o recover from his wounds but he had a emotional pain, betrayal by his own country and this would never be forgotten.

Jesse had been betrayed by his very own country and that was the final straw. He had now set foot to find the last Guerrilla gang. Jesse was now well known around the whole country for his terrorism. Jesse now had to live his life hiding and committing crimes but is he really an outlaw and are all of these crime really his fault? He had been brainwashed, he had his mentor killed, he had his mother taken away from him, he had his brother shot, he had been betrayed by his very own  nation. Now lets see the other side of this story.
