The day of the party. Harry receives a reply and meets three new friends.
Joe looked at the clock 6:30am. It was still early but there was no way he was going to get ant sleep now. Getting up he tidied all his new things away and placed all of the paper into the bin bag that had appeared. Picking up the bin bag he made his way down the stairs as quietly as he could. As he passed the sitting room going towards the kitchen he could see his mom asleep in the chair she had been occupying when she found out about Joe. She still had no idea that Joe inherited it from his father. Placing the bag next to the bin outside Joe made his way back to his room and sat thinking for a while.
Joe was brought out of his thoughts by a tapping at his window. Looking up he saw the Owl who he had sent on its way just a few hours earlier. Opening the window he took the piece of paper from its holder and started reading it.
Dear Joe,
Thank you for the reply. I am sorry if I caused you and your mother pain, but if I had stayed I would have caused you more. I had the letter’s delivery date magically set for your 11th birthday as I felt as it is the time you would find out about Hogwarts it would be the best time for you to find out about me. I never told your mother as I was worried about how she would take it, and from your letter it looks like I may have done the right thing.
I like your mother have never fond anyone else as I’m scared of what might happen.
Harry Potter now there’s a name from my past. Yes I did attend Hogwarts and was in the same house as Harry but I’ve not seen him since the night of the final battle. Do Harry and Dudley get on now as from what I can remember they didn’t back then?
I wish to meet with both of you and try and explain my actions to you in person.
P.S
As for letters writing themselves well that’s magic!
