I have not been able to be around to post as many articles as I was able to a few months back, as my grandmother had been diagnosed with cancer back in August, and I wasn’t able to handle as much for a while. We find out in just a few days whether the cancer was properly treated, or if the doctors can do anything else to treat her. Besides that, I have been busy with my senior year; I’ve come to realize that it is true what they say: Senior year is not only the quickest year of your schooling experience, it is also the most expensive. Excluding travel expenses and food, I’ve spent close to $300 already, and there is still another half a year to go through! I’ve never spent more than $100 in a full YEAR before because of school until today.

Getting back on track, the point of this article is this: I have just passed one of my milestones I set back a few months ago, and that is to reach 5,000 page views. It may have taken me quite a long time to reach this goal, seeing as how for a while, I was getting almost 1,000 a month, which is quite a bit with literally NO advertising and doing this passively, but I figure that the first 5,000 is always the hardest because impatience begins to set in if you aren’t seeing results the exact moment you started writing. The way I see it is that now that I have reached this milestone, getting to 10,000 views should take me half the time, so long as I am able to come back to writing, which basically depends on how soon the stresses in my life are taken care of.

As for the milestone, I would like to thank everyone who has helped me to reach it, as well as for those that will continue to read my articles, however scarce they may be. I hope that Triond has helped everyone to reach all of their goals this past year, and I wish the best for everyone in the New Year, as well.
