After watching the Jordan Brand Classic all Kentucky fans should be excited because of what the guys showed at the Jordan Brand Classic basketball game. It was a complete showcase of the talent that Kentucky is getting next year and the complete showcase of what looks to be another top 10 Kentucky team.

It all started with Anthony Davis, a senior out of Perspectives Charter School in Chicago. Davis, was named co-MVP, led the West in scoring with 29 points. He showed what an amazing player he is just by overpowering everybody on the East team and getting a plethora of rebounds. It is clear that once he gets to college the young star would have to gain a couple of pounds if he wants to overpower people on the block just like he did in the Jordan Brand game, but overall he is a great scorer and Kentucky would look pretty good even if they only had him coming.

The fact however is that they have Michael Gilchrist and Teague coming there and they seem to be a pretty good tandem so if Brandon Knight and Terrence Jones were to leave, the two of them would make Kentucky the best team in the nation if however Kinght or Jones decide to stay, the starting five which could very easily be Teague – PG, Kinght – SG, Gilchrist – SF, Wiltjer – PF, Davis – C, will be the most inexperienced, but at the same time most talented one put together after the fab five. If both Jones and Kight stay then Kentucky would have the option to have a lot more rotation this year especially at the PF/C position, something they did not have as much this year. Overall the Cats look very strong and if you are a Kentucky fan you should be very excited.
