Kolak is served either hot or cold.

Kolak is Indonesian dessert made with bananas and coconut milk. It is served either hot or cold.

To make  Kolak, you need to prepare ingredients as follows:

• 300 grams of bananas
• 150 grams of brown coconut sugar
• 2 pandanus leaves
• 150 ml of coconut milk
• 1/2 tea spoon of salt
• 500 ml of fresh water

To make Kolak Pisang, do the following steps.

• Peel the bananas and slice them slantingly into small pieces.
• Slice the brown coconut sugar to make it easily dissolved in the water.
• Put the brown coconut sugar, pandanus leaves, salt in the water and boil them.
• If you like, you can add small slices of pumpkin, sweet potatoes, jack-fruit, plantain, or cassava.
• Put the bananas and coconut milk into the brown water. Boil and stir up them until they are done.
• You can serve it as hot soup or ice cubed drink.
