Can a landlord legally rent your home to someone else if you only owe not even a month’s
worth rent? this is the question I ask. I’ve gotten the answers no or by state law I have at least
thirty days to move out myself. What I can’t understand is how can my landlord or should I say
" SLUMLORD" can get away with so many health violations. I don’t understand at all. I owe
him rent for this month but I did tell him that I lost my income in October.

I’ve asked him as least
five or six times for a rent statment but he did not give me on until it was toward the end of the
month. Then when I signed up for help from department of social services the woman I saw said
I had to wait 45 days then they would only pay my electric hello what’s the sence in paying my
electric if I don’t have a place to live. Well I’ll say this it’s confusing all the way around. Nosey
neighbors how can you get them to stay out of your buisness and mind their own. My landlord and
I had an agreement untill my nosey nieghbor got involved. Now he wants at least half of the rent by
Noveber 15. Promblem is I have to borrow from my Dad and now I’ll owe him.

And then I don’t even
know what I’ll do for December’s rent. All I can say is HELP I need a job now not next year. Can anyone
help me or do I just relie on my own. I can’t get any more online loans because I’ve already gotten two
and I don’t even know how I’ll pay those. But the real question is can my landlord leagaaly rent my home
even though I still live in it?Hope someone can help me, cause I’ve run fresh out of solutions. The only thing
I can do now is go to section 8 but I doubt they’ll help because the place I live in needs work bad. The roof
leaks, the toilot dosen’t flush and the bathroom floor is weak. I could fix it but then I would have to ask
my landlord if he wouold take it off my rent. Anyony who reads these please comment me giving me your
