League of Engineering Kaleidoscope:

Vision of Limitless Scopes

Good day everyone!

I was privileged and opportune to talk about the theme of the engineering week. And, before telling you the thoughts behind this theme, allow me to give you a brief history of its initiation.

I was asked by the Vice President of Supreme Council to conceptualize a theme for engineering week heading the term “Kaleidoscope”. I was a little excited during that time for doing poems, slogans and themes have been my passion. But, I just can’t think of an idea that connotes kaleidoscope with engineering discipline.

Then, I remember that it would be really hard for me to think of one without the wisdom of our God, believing that what I only hold right now is the love of God. He who is greater that dwells in me than that of the world.

Then, I came up with several themes and submitted to the council and they have chosen the theme “League of Engineering Kaleidoscope: Vision of Limitless Scopes”.

For me, engineering discipline is purposive.  It is a platform of commitment, passion and devotion of global competence and innovativeness. Lyceum of the Philippines Laguna, in its sense, had widened its linkages, breaks the horizons of industries and had sought integral development of the students. I’m rest assured that engineers in Lyceum of the Philippines Laguna is able to provide limitless scopes of knowledge and understanding, a global engineer needs to possess.

The institution is very much concern in instructional development to promote student’s welfare towards innovative success.   In due time, Lyceum shall be able to produce productive engineering graduates with competence in global perspective.

The kind of “engineering graduate” Lyceum of the Philippines University Laguna offers has made a remarkable breakthrough. Honing student’s crafts and bringing out the best, inculcating the proper ways and building the tons of self-confidence to entire community. Yes, Lyceum of Laguna – College of Engineering does these all.

And I am looking forward, ahead of the time, that each one of you shall be among its outstanding products.
