It snowed last night.

We had our first snowfall this year a few weeks ago, it transformed the surrounding countryside into a winter wonderland, and being a keen photographer I grabbed my camera and took a drive early in the morning into the country, I am lucky as I live on the south coast of England but with a half hours drive I am deep into the countryside.

Now don’t get me wrong, I am a keen photographer not necessarily a good one but nevertheless I was pleased with my pictures and as some of my closes friends are on Triond I thought I would share a few with you.

We should get more snow; according to the latest forecast so I will have another go then but in the mean time here are some of my pictures.

The snow fell last night, Mother Nature waved her wand

The countryside changed, to a beauty far beyond

Any man could attempt with all his power

Far surpassing the beauty of any fine flower

I tried to captured, the magic I saw

I wanted you all to share that feeling of awe.

So here are my efforts, I took with my Fuji

Such a beautiful sight I am sure you’ll agree.

I see why people get hooked on photography. It is like instant art, a way to capture the beauty of a moment forever.

Beautiful poem and pictures of my part of the country. We only had a couple of inches here in Eastbourne but it was so picturesque.
