Very interesting ideas on what to do when you are bored or have less than an hour of free time.

I love reading magazines.  I read LHJ (Ladies Home Journal), BHG (Better Homes and Garden), Fortune Magazines, Cosmopolitan, etc.  Reading magazines helps me relax and learn new ideas. I also found out different online raffles through magazines, like http://win.bhg.com/?ordersrc=rdbhg0478. But I never thought that I will learn how to do quickies through magazines.  Doing quickies is not my thing. I like longer activities. To better savor the joy of doing it. But thanks to magazines especially online magazines, I get interested with quickies and I am ready to try it later at night…

Here are the quickies that I read and like to do from the online magazines:

These are projects that is a real quickie. You can do it in less than an hour

1. Hold toothbrush with a toothbrush

2. Ribbed vinyl tubing vase project.

3. Candle holder made of wood trunks.

4. Switch cover from can of beer or soda

5. Shelf made from old suitcase

6. Wine organizer made from used mailing tubes

7.Magnetic wall tubed vases.

8. Bowl out of unplayable record

9.Personalize wine bottle.

10. Homemade  body scrub.

There are other quick projects to do, that I read but these list is the best. It will bring out the creativity in you. Plus you can use old materials in these projects. So good luck with the quickies. And may you have a good time.

Perhaps you can teach us how to do them next time. They are quickies alright but I guess there is also the art of doing them. I like these quickie ideas by the way.
