Not too long ago, we believed the earth was flat- and also the center of the universe. Time and exploration has proved these assumptions wrong, and although many people would not let go of these old beliefs, there were enough people who did and soon enough there was a new paradigm.

   As people we tend to be stubborn, we also love to hold onto our beliefs like our lives depend on it. This is a critical error in thinking as it leads to closed minds and a narrow view of the world.

     We jailed, burned and even beheaded people because they had a different viewpoint than the masses and therefore were eliminated or went into hiding.

     Change is hard to accept, especially when we are not looking for it, but it is inevitable and the sooner we accept this, the easier it is to open our minds to new thoughts and ideas.

     The universe itself is in constant state of flux, therefore it is not possible for us to remain the same. Each day is different from the last ,as time and gravity change us on the outside, and life experience works on our inside.

     We have become a race of people running around to beat the clock. Running around trying to get to the ‘top’, stepping over anyone we can to get there. Worrying about what others have and how we can get ‘it’. This is the state of mind and set of values that we have accepted,and now we are all caught in a web of deception, trying to make sense out of a senseless situation.

     Our world turns based on governments and religious organizations that care only about their own agendas and being ‘right.’ The truth becomes secondary to the egos of those who want to control others.

     It is time for each one of us to question everything we have accumulated and accepted into our lives as truths. We need to base our opinions and ultimately our decisions, on what we ‘see’, and  not what we are told – the only way we can ‘know’ something is to experience it for ourselves-

     According to the Mayan legend and now many of our scientists, we are coming to the end of an ‘age’ and beginning a ‘new’ one. The earth is not flat and our reality isn’t all there is .We have accepted the former, it is time to understand and accept the latter-
