Have you ever wondered why some people find a reason to lie about anything?

Lies, many people tell them. Wither, their met to keep from hurting others or just because there isn’t any other way to tell something.

Lets look at some of the ways people like to lie:

Look at politicians, they all say they don’t lie but, they don’t tell the truth either. They make promises and don’t keep it. If you watch how they say something, they make it sound good, too.

Flip through some of the popular magazines. You look at the models on the front page and other places throughout it. You’ll notice how skinny some of them are. They do have a habit of telling out teenagers that this is how they should look. Too me, that’s a big lie. That’s why certain teenagers aren’t happy with who they are.

Humanity has a way of taking things and twisting them around. Good could be better and bad is just bad. Give me a break. Its just my opinion.

Then, there are the chat rooms that people go in. People have the worst habit of stringing others on. Telling lies about who they are or are not. When your looking for love, the worst place is in a chat room. It really never works out. Most are after one thing only, SEX.

Sometimes there’s lies in a relationship. Which in my book is wrong. Lies come about when someone isn’t willing to be truthful. Having an affair is one. Keeping any kind of secrets. If you have to lie about something in your relationship then, you aren’t going to have a relationship.

Ever had your parent or parents lie to you about something. It can make you learn how not to trust them. I think that’s one of the ways we learn how to lie. When were lied to by a parent it makes us think its alright to lie to others.

Using the term, oh, he’s just a kid. He don’t know better. I think that’s the biggest kind of lie a parent can say concerning their child. He does know better. Just hadn’t been showed right from wrong.

I believe that we all have lied at some time in our life. It may not have been a big lie but, it would be considered one.

Some lies to can become so bad that we become the lie. Not knowing how to live truthfully. The best way to keep this from happening, is to not lie.

Yes, lying is definitely wrong, but like you say, I believe everyone has lied at one time or another.

Yep,lying is not the right thing to do.It does more damage then good the majority of the time. A nicely written article worth a topic that needed addressed.

I agree, lies are bad, aren’t they?
In your second line, does ‘wither their met’ mean ‘Whether they’re meant’?
    Thanks for sharing.

I agree you should never lie unless the truth would do more damage than a lie. An example, You do not tell a sick person they look as if they are at deaths door.

Lying isn’t good and everybody should practice not doing it however everybody can experience lying at some point of their life.

You speak some real truth, don’t you? Well done!

Here is my comment to your other article about the vulnerable human heart. It wouldn’t take it on that page.

That was very real, very true, very deep, and very powerful..I am sorry: Did I violate the rule of redundancy with those comments? You get the point! Lol. Excellent!

This was very well written. Makes me wonder about how we all live in a lie. So convinced of our being good and righteous and convinced of others shortcomings. Thank you for writing this!!

Sometimes its easier to tell a “tender lie” than to tell the truth. Sometimes people have to be protected from theirself.
