Just ramblings really.
I was always taught that life is what you determine it to be for yourself. Your dreams, expectancies, and everything that you wish for yourself can come true if you want it bad enough. Nobody says life is easy even from the beginning you learn that nothing comes free and you get in trouble if the boundaries are tested. Do we make our dreams and ambitions so high that we sub-consciously plan to make ourselves fail? Could it be we are scared to test our abilities within or are we listening to the voices of people constantly saying you are going to fail? See, I believe our life is already laid out by a higher power than ourselves. Don’t get me wrong if we do fail or succeed it is our doing. We all have a high expectation not only for ourselves but for our children as well.
From birth parents dream about what their children are going to be when they grow up. I think life is also a cycle because most parents put the same amount of pressure on their children that their parents put on them. I am not talking about child abuse because that cycle can be broken actually all cycles can be broken. Do we realize how much pressure we put on our children? Take school; for an example, they have to deal with peer pressure all day long, come home make sure homework is done, and than for most of the majority do chores. When does the child get to experience childhood and how far will parents go? I wonder if anyone sits back and wonders what led us to this point in our lives. Was it us, our parents, teachers, grades, or a higher power God? I would like to think with a little help from God, myself and everyone else who has had an impact in my life positively.
