What is life all about?

Every action we take, every movement we make, we are only adding to our depressing song that seems to be on repeat.  A majority of people in the world are on repeat, we wake up early, apathetically get dressed, and strive to get to school/work just so we can further make our lives miserable with the insanity that unconsciously takes place.  Are we really happy?  These questions are often left unanswered, and those who reply with a “yes” aren’t even sure of themselves, for you know at some moment in that day they had quarreled about a situation or problem that is leaving them even more lost.

We outline our daily lives without being aware of it.  Day by day, night by night, we eat, sleep, and dream about what it’s like to do what we want.  We are subconsciously in control of ourselves, although we ignore this factor.  We are robots, unseeingly programmed by the same software.  When are we going to step out of the fire?  When are we going to wake up one morning and think to ourselves, “I’m just going to sleep in today” .

I believe as you get older you lose your sense of life, and what it means to live.  Children are able to be themselves without worrying about being judged by others that are around them.  Children even have the ability to escape this world without the fear of being harmed or ruining their lives.  Teens also have this ability to escape, however it is considered wrong by higher authority.  Teens are constantly ditching school, because they realize how its negatively wasting their lives, based on how their schools are running them.  Teens realize that there are certain things that are useless to waste their time on.  When will you ever have to remember what the Pythagorean theorem is while you are working on a patient’s cavity.  But as adults, we have been under control by higher authority so much that we have taught ourselves to repeat our actions everyday, by working and making ourselves depressed.

We have to learn what our true purpose is, and how we can our live our lives to our full potential.   We do not deserve to be depressed.  We are to be happy and free beings in this society.  We should no longer be exposed to this overbearing society that expects us to repeat ourselves everyday and not cause a scene.  In a way, we need to stop living our “normal” lives so we can discover what our true potential is.
