The style of living usually affects the behavior, success and determination of an individual. In other words, the environment is another factor that shape the personality of a person. In this writing, the author wants to give some differences and similarities of life in the Country and Life in the City. Are they really have differences or something in common? Yes, exactly. By definition, life in the country usually considered as simple living, hard work and full of Dreams. While life in the City mostly comprehend as extravagant, enjoyment and living to the fullest. But what is the real truth? Based on the author observation and did some interviews, it depends on every individuals’ outlook towards life as well as to her/his treatment towards the surroundings. There are people who wishes and wanted their children to grow up in the country because of it’s safest, cleanest and disciplined environment and people surrounded them. On the other hands, parents on the country are sending their children to the city to experience the real world, experience technology changed and exposure. What which place is really desirable to live with? In the country, life is more on dreaming, full of goals and aspiration. And the common goal is that somebody they will experience the life which people in the city are enjoying off. The technology, gadgets, mode of transportation. night life, party and a lot of more. While some people on the city are dreaming for a peace, clean and simple life which they are thinking that can only be found in the country? Riding on a back of a carabao or water buffalo, washing clothes in the river, fetching fresh water in the falls, catching fish in the clean river, picking and eating fresh wild fruits in the forest and peaceful night with sounds of crickets while sleeping are the memorable experienced of a someone who grown up in the country. While in the city, riding on the airplane, train, fashion, parties and night life will be considered different that cannot be found in the country. But above all, the bottom end is that every reason, desires and satisfaction is merely depends on individuals’ views and prerogatives in life.
