World wide natural disasters, maelstrom of technological advances, and recessions approaching the era of the Greatest Depression. With all of these stresses in our nation and our world now is the time of unity amongst the people. The ideas of John Lennon, Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, are all being lost in the erosion of time. We are still a United Nation. The world needs leaders of the spirit and the mind to compete with the leaders of the free world. Never underestimate the power of peace, love, and happiness. What once was the mantra of a generation has turned into nothing more than bumper sticker rhetoric and T-shirt logos. The concept that love and music could be injected into peoples lives to cure hatred and violence is not one of fantasy. It is one of destiny. We can choose, one day at a time, to change our lives and our hearts. By doing so we change those around us. The greater the change, the greater the effect on others. Money has had its run on ruling the world. The rich will always be rich, the poor will always be poor. However, love has no dollar signs, no boundaries and if love can keep the rich from looking down on the poor and the poor from despising the rich we can unite under the beautiful umbrella of love. Give it a chance. Let love be the guide to a better world.
