Autumn is a season of sights and scents. Apple pies and pumpkin pies baking in the ovens in small town bakeries, with a hint of cinnamon in the air. Homes with their wood burning stoves to take the crisp autumn chill out of the home, adding to the many different fragrances of this particular time of the year.

 Nature provides many things to do during each and every season, but you must take the time to smell the flowers, as your children will soon be grown; spreading their wings and leaving the nest; once the time passes, you don’t get a second chance. Now is the time to take advantage of your child’s youth, show them as much of the sights as possible.

 Teach them to appreciate and enjoy the sights and the time spent together, for time goes by too quickly as does each season; as autumn turns to winter the air gets colder and the beautiful mountains of red and orange fade away in the distance.
