For the most part the guys in the top 10 seem to be doing okay. True King Albert has been slower than usual getting out of the gate this year but relax people, his numbers will be there. Same thing for King Felix. He’ll saddle up and kick some butt all summer long making batters’ heads spin and what not.
Hopefully when Josh Hamilton and Joe Mauer get off the DL they’ll have some solid numbers next to their names for the season as well. However, due to the length of time Josh is expected to be out, I would say it’s a safe bet there will be no back-to-back AL MVP honors for him.
Oh and hey…The Freak almost got himself a no hitter. But you know, as usual, someone flaps their gums about it. While it’s happening and then poof…gone. Didn’t happen. So I’d say he’s right on with his stuff to this point.
Check back later for the next ten guys and their numbers so far. Later baseball people!
