  Technology also plays an important role in our love life. In order to prove its importance researchers at the Newcastle University have designed and developed a special box called “Lover’s Box” that records romantic messages.  It looks like a simple wooden antique jewellery box which features the latest technology that conveys messages to the loved one. It is being perceived as digital storybook that gives something different and special.

 Lover’s Box is made from four different woods – cherry, beach, apple and walnut. The box is integrated with RFID reader inside. There is also a screen which is visible once the box is unlocked and the user has to use the key to get the romantic messages. 

 Lover’s Box consists brass hinges nicely decorated with ornate carvings and a keyhole at the front. The box opens like a book which makes it a very special, precious and very distinguish from gadgets like laptops and mobile phones. Read the press release at Newcastle University.
